Today, the 60 Minute Makeover team has come to Barnet in Hertfordshire for a surprise renovation on Maureen’s home.
Two years ago she lost her husband to cancer and tragically, her sister also passed away in the same week. On top of that, Maureen has had to have a hip replacement and isn’t as mobile anymore as she would like to be. So her son Lee, her son-in-law Michael and grandson David decided to call on us to help put a smile back on her face by performing some makeover magic to her desperately dated home. Captain of the team is our star fromScotland, designer John Amabile – he will be keeping his eye on the ball to create a brand new living and dining room, main bedroom and guest room all in just one hour.
