Today we’re in Hounslow, where the team will be making over Rajinder’s house in just 60 minutes. Leading the design team is top interior designer Scott Waldron.
Rajinder has had a tough few years. Her husband passed away in 2007 after struggling with cancer for two years. Tragically, her sister and mother both passed away in 2008, leaving Rajinder heart broken. After injuring herself and needing shoulder surgery, it leaves little time and money to do anything with her house, putting it at the bottom of her to-do list. She works as a teacher supporting children who have English as their second language, and also volunteers at a local radio station. Her daughter, Mandeep, wants to give her mum a surprise, somewhere where she can relax and recuperate in.
