With a track record of 25 successful years in the interior design business, Julia is enjoying phenomenal success both in the UK and internationally.
In recent years she has been very busy working on DIY SOS, Daybreak and Radio 5Live, and is delighted to have rejoined the 60MM team, where her TV career began. She has also recently completed building an award-winning eco-home and is embarking on her second.
Having worked for various top interior design companies, Julia has trained in all areas of design including lighting, spatial planning and kitchen design, and in 1997 she decided to start her own business in order to manage her life as a single mum and financial provider more effectively.
Julia is on a mission to encourage women to have confidence with DIY and using power tools to achieve great results for themselves, and is currently writing a DIY book aimed at women. Always budget-conscious, Julia is very talented at recycling unwanted items turning them into things of great beauty!
Julia has a regular column in Real Homes magazine and writes for the Sunday Times as an eco-expert contributor.
