Guide & Scout jamboree

The Girl Guides are celebrating their centenary and wading into a very modern debate about 21st century society. The movement has launched a petition against the practice of air-brushing pictures of celebrities and models in magazines to make them look better. The Guides say it can give girls unrealistic expectations about how they themselves should look. 5,000 Guides and Scouts are spending this week at the Norfolk Showground near Norwich for this year's NORJAM jamboree.
