Ben is a successful actor and one half of comedy duo Armstrong and Miller. He's starred in movies and has filmed new ITV show Moving Wallpaper.
Ben looked certain to persue a career as a scientist until he met Alexander Armstrong halfway through studying for a PhD in physic at Cambridge University in 1992. He ditched his academic studies to spend five spent touring pubs and comedy clubs. The double act were rewarded with their own TV series Armstong and Miller and 10 years later they are still on our screens.
The funnyman also has a serious side and has played numerous straight roles, including parts in hit ITV shows Primeval and Marple: The Body in the Library. He's no stranger to film either, starring alongside Steve Coogan in The Parole Officer and Robert Carlyle in There's Only One Jimmy Grimble. It's a little known fact that Ben provides the voice for Johnny Vegas's much-loved sidekick Monkey.
