Caroline has starred in a string of hit TV dramas, most recently appearing as primary school teacher Louisa Glasson in ITV1’s Doc Martin.
The actress started her career with appearances in ITV’s Peak Practice and The Bill – where she met her husband Michael Higgs (best-known as bad boy Andy Hunter in EastEnders).
She then moved on to lead roles in crime dramas The Vice and Murder in Suburbia, but has since become best known for playing the long-suffering love interest of grumpy GP Dr Ellington in the popular ITV family drama Doc Martin.
