Fern Britton is one of Britain's best-loved TV presenters, and currently co-hosts ITV1's flagship daytime show, This Morning, with Phillip Schofield.
The daughter of veteran actor Tony Britton, Fern began her TV career as a presenter on regional news show Spotlight South West before becoming the BBC’s youngest national news presenter on BBC1’s New Afternoon.
After spells presenting TVS shows such as Coast to Coast, Fern then fronted BBC’s Ready Steady Cook before she and Phil took over from Richard and Judy as the anchors of ITV1’s This Morning.
Phillip Schofield became a household name as a children’s presenter on the BBC during the mid- to late-80s, starting out in the “Broom Cupboard” along with Gordon the Gopher and then moving to Going Live!
He later moved over to primetime TV, presenting game shows such as ITV’s Talking Telephone Numbers and the BBC’s National Lottery Winning Lines.
Since returning to ITV, Phillip has enjoyed a hugely popular on-screen partnership with Fern Britton on This Morning, and more recently with Holly Willoughby on celebrity reality show Dancing on Ice.
