

Since mastering the tools of
his trade with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Ian
has become a much-loved character actor on both TV and the big screen.
The actor's big break came when he landed the role of Harcourt in award-winning Eighties drama Edge of Darkness, and he's never looked back. He's starred in ITV shows Inspector Morse, Minder, Stay Lucky, Cadfael, Hornblower and, most recently, ITV1's Doc Martin.
Ian has featured in numerous British movies including sci-fi thriller No Escape and The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain. Ian has also broken Hollywood, starring opposite Jim Carry in the smash hit 1995 comedy Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls.
