

Joe has charmed TV audiences since he was a teenager, most recently starring in Doc Martin as cheeky plumber's assistant Al Large.
His TV break was in ITV's The Bill, when he appeared as different characters in 1992 and 1996. A year later he arrived in Albert Square, where he became a household name thanks to his gripping and gritty portrayal of troubled teen Mathew Rose in EastEnders.
Since quitting the soap, Joe has appeared in ITV's acclaimed wartime drama P.O.W. and starred alongside Ray Winstone in ITV1's Vincent. He has also acted on the big screen in horror movie Long Time Dead.
