

Steve Rider is one of the most experienced sports broadcasters in the UK, having been a regular face on national TV for more than 25 years.
He started his broadcasting career at Anglia Television before ITV gave him his big break during the 1980 Moscow Olympics. After a stint presenting ITV’s iconic World of Sport, he moved to the BBC in 1985 where he hosted Grandstand and Sportsnight.
Steve was lured back to ITV in 2006 by the opportunity to cover his first love, Formula 1. He also helms the station’s Champions League coverage and led the ITV team at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
