It's all about the scandalous lives of privileged Manhattan prep school teens. 

Blake Lively stars as resident hot girl Serena van der Woodsen. The hot boy role is filled by Chace Crawford, who plays Nate Archibald.

Anyway, back to the story. Serena van der Woodsen was once the posho Upper East Side's most notorious party girl. Then she disappeared. No-one knows why, except, perhaps Gossip Girl. She's the mysterious blogger who keeps the locals up to date with the latest news.

When Serena suddenly turns up again, everyone wonders why. And why did she do a runner in the first place?

All will be revealed in ITV2's Gossip Girl. Except, of course, the real identity of Gossip Girl.
