
1. GENERAL GUIDELINES
You may send in a question by email to: gossipgirl@itv.com to be presented in an interview to a member of the cast of the ITV show, “Gossip Girl” (the ‘programme’). The interview will then be featured on the website at www.itv.com. Please note questions may only be sent in via email. It is not possible to send in questions via the website, by post, phone or any other method not specified here.
To be eligible, you must be a United Kingdom resident aged 18 years or over to participate in this service. Employees and members of their immediate families (including any live-in partner) of companies within the ITV group of companies and any of their subsidiaries and/or agencies associated with the programme, including the producer of the programme are ineligible. Any such submitted questions will be invalid.
The closing date for receipt of submissions is 4:00 p.m. on 10 November 2008.
There is no charge for questions sent in via email.
You may send in questions as many times as you like. We do not guarantee that your question will be considered despite being received by us, even if you have received an acknowledgment of sent and/or of receipt message. Not all questions submitted will be considered. ITV may suspend, withdraw or re-set this service in its sole discretion at any time.
ITV may modify your question(s), or may accept it, or refuse to consider your question in its sole and absolute discretion. Your question(s) will be moderated for content, and is subject to, but not limited to, the following restrictions and guidelines: You may not submit a question containing any material or content which is in any way defamatory, obscene, unlawful, harmful, offensive or inappropriate or infringes the rights of a third party or may have the effect of being harassing, threatening, abusive or hateful or that otherwise degrades or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age or disability. You agree not to advertise or promote third parties' or your own goods or services including by way of the distribution of "spam". Any such submitted question will be deemed inappropriate and will not be accepted.
ITV and their sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, software provider or otherwise which may result in any emails being lost or not properly registered or recorded.
ITV cannot promise that the service/system will be free from errors or omissions nor that it will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition. The service/system may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the reasonable control of ITV. ITV will not be liable to you or to any other person in the event that all or any part of the system is discontinued, modified or changed in any way.
Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer. For more details on your statutory rights you should contact your local Trading Standards Office or Citizen's Advice Bureau.
Submitting questions as part of this interactive service may be subject to the www.itv.com Terms of Use.
2. QUERIES/COMPLAINTS
If you have a query or complaint, you may register it with the ITV duty office who can be contacted by phone on 0844 88 14150 or by email at dutyoffice@itv.com. You will need to give the following information:
1. Your Name
2. Your email address
3. The IP number of your computer
4. The date(s) and time(s) when you sent an email and experienced problems
5. If possible, your internet service provider
6. A contact telephone number you can be reached on, if necessary.
