Esther swoony over Clooney

Single Esther Rantzen isn't ruling out a tumble in the jungle if the right man comes along.

And while her number one choice is George Clooney, things aren't looking too promising on the fella front.

Mainly because none of the other campmates are single. Still, that's not going to stop our Esther...

“My ideal man is somebody who’s funny and who finds me funny,” she sighs. “Someone who’s generous - spiritually rather than financially) - and a good kisser!”

This lady knows what she wants alright, but will not be flaunting her assets in our famous jungle creek in a bid to snare Mr Right.

“I haven’t got a bikini but I have got some swimsuits that cover my bits,” she coyly reveals. “I’ve had very stern instructions from my daughter, Rebecca. Do remember I’m 68.”

But the modest camp clothing is also no comfort: “I’ve lived my life in kitten heels and stilettos!” Esther shrieks when we talk her through the outfit.

“I’ve had a very urban life,” she adds. “I’ve never gone camping or spent the night outside, and have never come face-to-face with a poisonous spider… although I have worked in television.”

At this point we must leave the lady to kick off her sling-backs and break in those boots, all the while wondering whether she’ll encounter more critters in camp than she says she has in her career.
