The tension was palpable at the Sony Ericsson Empire Awards on Sunday night in London as the great and good of the movie world assembled to celebrate the film fans' choices.
Not surprisingly Atonement was the main attraction with three wins, including Best British Film, Best Actor and Best Actress, however The Bourne Ultimatum beat it to the biggest prize of all.
