Joseph William Calzaghe is an undefeated Welsh former professional boxer and is considered by many to be one of the most successful UK boxers of all time.
He retired in February 2009 with an undefeated record, becoming only the third European boxer, after Terry Marsh and Sven Ottke, to retire in such circumstances.
