They're taking a break from the This Morning sofa for the brand new series of All Star Mr and Mrs.
Let's take a minute to get to know a little bit more about the inimitable Fern and Phil.
Phillip Schofield
Our very own King of Daytime TV, Lancashire-born Phillip Schofield is the presenter we wake up with every day on This Morning alongside Fern Britton.
His big break came as he presented children's TV shows alongside furry friend Gordon the Gopher.
As well as presenting, Phil's also had a go at treading the boards with lead roles in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Dr Doolittle. More recently he hosted ITV1's Dancing on Ice with Holly Willoughby.
Phil has two daughters, Ruby and Molly to his wife of 15 years, Stephanie Lowe. On All Star Mr and Mrs, Phil says: “Fern and I have a brilliant time on This Morning and The Soap Awards, so it's exciting to be together on a Saturday night.”
All Star Mr and Mrs challenges celebrity couples by testing how well they know even the tiniest details about their other half. On the prospect of being a contestant himself, Phil says: "Um No! Not even remotely because I know at some stage I would be forced to answer one of those no win questions and I’d cock it up!”
He’s really looking forward to hosting the show and says his dream contestants would be Bill and Hilary Clinton.
Fern Britton
Fabulous Fern was born in Buckinghamshire. After a stint as a continuity announcer and presenter on regional TV, gained many fans when she began hosting the cookery game show, Ready Steady Cook.
Fern has been presenting This Morning for almost a decade, many of those alongside Phillip.
Despite a long career as a popular presenter, Fern admits she still gets anxious about hosting live. About All Star Mr & Mrs, Fern said “Well on the night, naturally, I’ll be nervous before we actually go in to the studio and record because that’s a natural thing.”
Fern's well-known for her forthright views on body image and even appeared semi-nude for a photo shoot in 2002! Last year, she announced on This Morning that she had lost two stone. She revealed her secret was eating her husband’s healthy meals and her new-found passion for cycling. She is planning on cycling across Cuba next year.
Fern lives in Buckinghamshire with her celebrity chef husband Phil Vickery, their children, twins Jack and Harry (from Fern's first marriage), daughters Grace and Winnie and their black labrador.
Now presenting All Star Mr & Mrs, Fern tells us she's delighted to be hosting this all-new version as she was a big fan of the original series. She tells us her ideal contestants would be the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh!
