Angellica Bell: The biog
After more than six years as a popular Children’s BBC presenter, the all-singing, all-dancing Angellica has now branched out into the realm of adult programming.
She has sung sensationally for charity on BB1’s Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, got her groove on as host of BBC3’s Dance X spin-off, Dance Xtra, guided cheeky probing cameras behind the scenes of Albert Square in Eastenders Xtra, and most recently, become a regular fixture on The One Show.
And now Angellica has packed an impressive travel show repertoire (BBC1’s Holiday Hitsquad and The Departure Lounge) into designer bags lined with oodles of jet-setting experience as she checks in as savvy hostess with the mostest on ITV2’s CelebAir.
Counting Kylie, Prince William and Kate Middleton among her fellow past passengers, globetrotting guru Angellica has flown there, explored that and got t-shirts from just about every far flung continent and party capital imaginable to prove it.
And all that airborne action makes for some interesting anecdotes: “I have actually pulled on a plane!” she reveals, recalling a certain flirty flight to Vegas.
“We had a little date but when we landed in LA I had to get a connecting flight, so I went to get my bags and lost him…”
Angellica’s ideal celebrity airline would be staffed by the likes of Sir Trevor McDonald, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Nick Knowles.
