When and where will they fly?
CelebAir will be flying to destinations in Spain, Portugal and Cyprus. Check here for the full list of flight destinations and dates.
Will there be a celebrity flying the plane?
No. Members of Monarch’s experienced flight crew will be in the cockpit. Additionally, a regular trained Monarch cabin crew will be on hand during all CelebAir flights. But celebrities will be playing a crucial part during CelebAir flights – manning check in desks and doing many of the duties you would expect of a flight crew while in the air.
What training will the celebrities have?
None of the celebrities will be able to work aboard CelebAir planes unless they have passed all the necessary training to do so. Safety of passengers is a priority on a CelebAir flight – just the same as all passenger flights out of the UK. Therefore all celebrities will have passed training in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) rules.

Will my flight cost more on CelebAir?
CelebAir flights will be competitively priced like all Monarch Airlines flights. As is typical with Monarch’s regular pricing policy, the price will rise as the planes become full, so for the best price available, book early.
Can I offset my CelebAir carbon footprint?
Yes - and if you are travelling on CelebAir we’d really like you to do so. By using Monarch’s partnership with Climate Care you can offset a return flight to Malaga for just £3.25. For more details go to http://www.climatecare.org/monarch
Can I guarantee my flight will be staffed by celebrities?
Monarch will do all they can to ensure that if you book a CelebAir flight, that you will be flying on a flight with a celebrity cabin crew. However, because your trip abroad is the most important thing, Monarch may have to swap your flight due to issues like bad weather or technical problems.
Can I travel both ways with CelebAir?
While it will be possible to travel return with CelebAir, it’s unlikely this will fit in with your travel plans. Check the flights and destinations available, and you can book your departure or return with a Monarch flight on the other leg of your journey.
Will the celebrities undergo the same training as Monarch staff?
The celebrities will undergo the same training as Monarch Airlines staff. All training is regulated by the CAA.
What further safety features will be in place for celebrities that have not worked on an airline before?
The celebs will receive the same training as all normal Monarch staff, many of whom will not have previously have worked for an airline, so no additional safety features will be required for the celebrities.
Will the show create an unnecessary carbon footprint?
The CelebAir flights will operate as part of Monarch’s normal scheduled flying programme and no additional flights will be operated as a result of the programme. All passengers are encouraged to offset their carbon footprint via Climate Care.
