Lisa Maffia wins CelebAir
After weeks of gruelling training and showbiz shifts, So Solid cabin crew member Lisa Maffia is crowned CelebAir winner.And as Chico fell by the wayside in the final stages, it was the all-girl final that Amy had yearned for...
"I saw how happy Amy was after her shift and I was thinking… I’m so going to lose!" Lisa sighed after her victory. "I didn't expect to win."
So just how does the singing sensation think she came this far?
"A lot of people warmed to my personality and that’s what this job is about – customer service," she says. "There were stupid little things I used to hiccup on but I got away with it because I did it with a smile."
As well as counting fellow crew members Michelle Marsh and Tamara Beckwith among her closest friends, there are a number of other reasons why Lisa won't be forgetting her CelebAir experience in a hurry...
"The slog and the hard work that we had to do to become an air hostess," the star cries. "And the exams!"
So will Lisa be sticking to the singing or keeping her new day job?
