DANCING ON ICE: PHOTOS

Daredevil former soap star Roxanne Pallett must be a gluton for punishment - as she'll be attempting the risky headbanger swing for a second time in tonight's live show. 

You might remember that last time she tried it with skating partner Dan Whiston, they didn't quite pull off the move and turned it into a "flat spin" at the last minute.

Roxy might have thought she'd got out of the tricky move, but now Torvill and Dean have incorporated it into their new routine to give them a second chance. And by the looks of it, rehearsals are going pretty well!

Roxy said: "There are lots of terrifying moves in this routine, including the lift I dislocated my rib on and of course the headbanger which I misjudged last time, so I have two major challenges.

"There are some close shaves for Dan too, one move involves me laying on his back kicking my legs where my blades are literally skimming his back!"

She adds: "This routine is made up of all the elements I've got wrong in the last few weeks so I'm very nervous, but the song is so magical and I'm hoping to lose myself in the character of the music to give me confidence.

"On one hand it's quite crushing receiving such low scores when we try so hard, but then we realise how much the public are voting and keeping us in each week, so Dan and I are doing this for everyone at home - they're our judges."
