Roxanne Pallett was in agony this week after dislocating her rib during training. Roxy realised something was wrong and told skating partner Dan: “I’ve just popped something – my rib.”

Poor Roxanne was doubled up in pain with the injury - which skating legend Jayne Torvill has also suffered. "It can be really painful, I've had it happen to me," Jayne said.

And it couldn't have come at a worse time for Roxanne, whose confidence is already suffering due to the judges' criticism last week. "My scores are getting worse each week. I'm completely lost now. I'm completely doubting myself," she said. 

The soap star was taken to the nearest hospital to be checked out. After having some time to recover, she is now back in training for Sunday's show.

But the trooper is putting a brave face on this week's injury. "At this stage in the show it's quite deflating when you get an injury. Your confidence does go a little bit but once you leave the show you can't go back into it so I'm just going to be brave and carry on - this is not going to stop us at all."
