Upping the ante
It's the quarter finals folks, and as if our skating stars haven't wowed us enough already, they're pulling out all the stops in a bid to impress.

Take Ray's Russian Split Jump for example - head judge Robin Cousins attempted this in the Maryland US World Championships in 1985!

Yes ice fans, we're talking big moves. And they're all at it...

The Tabletop lift
After suffering a bad fall a couple of weeks ago, Jessica is plucking up courage to start pulling out those big lifts once again.

“Pavel being 6ft3 holding me above his head puts me at about nine or 10 feet!" she says of the Tabletop lift, pictured here.

Gulp. But it doesn't end there.

Burn, baby burn
"We’ve also an upside-down Candle Lift, which for me is the scariest because there’s nothing holding me at all apart from my arms around Pavel’s waist.”

And Donal is also getting revved up for his latest routine...

He drives us crazy
So what's so tricky about assuming the car position then?

"I failed my driving test four times!" Donal sighs. "Hopefully I’ll bring the car home safely on Sunday!”
