Grant’s a goner

Grant Bovey becomes the second celeb to be sacked from Hell’s Kitchen.

After a hectic service that saw 20 extra diners rock up to the restaurant, Marco decided that Grant didn’t cut it when it came to the crunch.

“In service you preferred to sink than ask for help,” Marco told Grant. “You are not a team player. You are a leader, you’re a boss – that kitchen is not big enough for two bosses. I am the boss of Hell’s Kitchen.”

Speaking to Claudia on his return to the restaurant, Grant said:

"I miss them all. It was such, such hard work, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world."

But there is one fellow chef who wasn't quite as sad to see the back of Grant...

"To be honest, I thought I was getting on with Ade famously," Grant sighed when Claudia quizzed him about his relationship with Adrian. "But since I've been out I've heard a few things..."

Ade aside however, nothing will hurt as much as leaving wife Anthea - that's right folks, Granthea is no more in the kitchen.

"It was horrible," Grant grimaced. "I felt I left her down by leaving the way I did..."
