She’s come a long way since that crisp sandwich, but not far enough, it seems, to make the grand final.

Yes, tonight you sent Niomi packing in the first live celeb sacking.

She thought Marco had it in for her from the start, but gave as good as she got when the two went head-to-head.

“I was woman enough to speak my mind, but I would like to be woman enough to apologise for the way I did it," a blushing Niomi told Claudia. "I could have come across better... I’ve come across some guys who are a lot scarier than Marco - he has a huge heart and was lovely."

She may have been ruthless with Hell’s Head Chef, but when it came to his ingredients, plucky Niomi couldn’t bear that she was killing those cockles!

Nevertheless, she’s had a blast at the pass, and can go home to her son with her head held high.

“I’ve loved it so much,” she beamed. “They’re all so amazing and this is one of the most amazing experiences in my life.”

And who does she have tipped for the top?

“I would really love for Danielle to win,” she declared, before skipping back to the kitchen to cuddle her colleagues.
