Profile: Nick is the youngest of ‘The Natural Born Sellers’ and is a self confessed workaholic, Nick seems old and wise for his 24 years and believes that “bullsh*t is the sales technique of dying salesmen”.  He’s a gentleman and believes someone is more likely to buy something from someone in a smart suit.

Hobbies: Nick likes to have dinner parties with friends, horse riding, skiing, drinking nice wine and going out in London's Chelse and Fulham

Name: Thea 

Age: 32

Occupation: IT sales
Education: Schooled at boarding school, Thea then went on to pass A level exams and graduate with a university degree. 

Employment History: A varied and proven track record in IT sales. Achieving top UK new business executive in the UK in one role as Account Manager, and is expert in negotiating new business and account management.  

Profile: 
“I wear my balls on my chest!” declares Thea. She’s a force, in red lipstick, to be reckoned with. “When you’re pretty it helps when you’re a customer, it’s easier to be sold something by someone who’s easy on the eye.”

Age: 25

Occupation:  Business partner in own Internet based sales venture.

Employment History:  Scott may be young but he’s climbing the sales ladder fast. Starting on a commission only basis he generated leads for loans and mortgages, he soon secured his role in a leading information provider as Sales Director leading his team to the company’s highest output of cold calling sales in a day. After winning a award he was soon promoted and is happy hitting the phones and motivating his sales team.

Education: Profile: Scott’s eager, he’s young , he’s ambitious and he wants to retire at 30. He’s extremely driven and says he’ll stop at nothing to succeed.  When told at school he’d amount to nothing, he knuckled down and passed his exams with flying colours. And when he bought his first soft top sports car he made sure he stopped off at an old employer to show him how far he’d come.  Although Scott has succeeded at most things he has put his mind to, this will be the first time he will be challenged by others in various sales environments, predominately outside telesales. He is ultra competitive.  

Hobbies: Going to the gym and socialising.

Occupation: Car Salesman

Employment History: 
There’s no denying that Danny is a top salesman. Smashing set targets at his new and used car showroom he earned the status of top salesman in his region year on year. He was promoted to oversee a team of sales executives and misses the direct sell, although he’s still on hand to secure any difficult deals. He also worked as a successful window salesman. 

Profile: Danny’s the salt of the earth type. He’s an Essex boy, macho man in appearance with an arm of great tattoos. He’ll admit to being a big softy when it comes to his family, which are his sole motivation to win, and he’s a massive Liverpool fan. He’s hungry for opportunity and is vocal with his opinions.  He’s a workaholic, spending six or seven days a week in the showroom.

Hobbies: 
Danny’s main interests are sports; especially football, rugby, cricket, swimming [they will do this as a family], tennis and golf. He is captain of the junior football team which won the Essex schools championships.

Employment History: Award winning sales manager for a number of the country’s brand leading companies, expert cold caller and product trainer.

Education: Anne Marie attended full time education and then onto NVQ qualification with release to college and ended up being taken on. 

Profile: Anna Marie looks like a sweet and bubbly girl, but she’s a great business woman having started her own company in 2007 after becoming fed up of being someone else’s employee. Her tactics are to be nice no matter how strong willed her opponents are, especially the opinionated women who she finds can be the most aggressive.  Married for five years, she is also passionate about her horse and carries with her a cushion with her horses face on.

Hobbies: Anna-Marie’s absolute passion is her horse. She loves horse riding and teaching others to learn to ride and about horse care. Other interests include going to the cinema and listening to music. Anna is also known to enter a lot of competitions, with the care she gives to it she wins more often than loses.

Employment history:  
Prior to his current self employed position, for five years Leighton worked as a double glazing sales rep for a number of companies, and a previously as a door to door salesman for a communications company.  

Profile: Leighton is a traditional travelling salesman who has adapted to various different sales environments throughout his career but he likes to be in control and doesn’t like surprises.  He says there is a lot riding on this opportunity and admits he can be unscrupulous if it means making sales. 

Hobbies:  A massive Doctor Who fan, Leighton collects memorabilia and goes to Doctor Who conventions. He is also a big music fan, often going to heavy metal and Ska gigs with friends. He also fancies himself as a bit of a ‘thesp’ having tried his hand at some TV extra work.
