The Colour of Money: Online game instructions
First you will pick a cash card to determine how much you will be playing for; this will be your target.
During the game you can select any 10 out of 20 cash machines to help you reach your target.
Each cash machine displays a colour and has a different limit from one thousand to twenty thousand.
No two machines contain the same amount.
Each machine will count up by one thousand every second. All you have to do is stop it before the alarm sounds and you are locked out.
If you stop it before the alarm then the sum displayed will go towards your target. But! If you hear the alarm that means you are bust and you move on with nothing.
To win the Colour of Money you must reach your target.
Remember you are not playing for real money and there is no prize if you win.
Understanding Score Play
To play ‘Score Play’ you will need to register from within the game or on the ITV website.
As a registered player you can compete each week to top the leaderboard and earn a place in our prestigious Hall of Fame.
In ‘Score Play’, every time you sequentially complete the Colour of Money your score will accumulate. The player with the highest score at the end of the week will earn a place in the Hall of Fame.
However, should you lose even once, your score will tumble to zero and you will have to start again.
The ‘score play’ version of this game locks down every Saturday evening while the television show is airing on ITV1.
During this period the player with the highest score thus far will be awarded a place in our prestigious Hall of Fame. Once the show has finished, the game will be unlocked and all player scores will return to zero.
In case of a tie, the system will randomly pick one player to enter the Hall of Fame.
Good Luck!
Remember you are not playing for real money and there is no prize if you win.
