Alison Cork
Known to millions of homeowners for her unique brand of style and sound advice, writer and tv presenter Alison Cork is currently to be found on ITV's 60 Minute Makeover, writing weekly property columns for the Telegraph and Evening Standard, and broadcasting on national radio.
She first came to prominence in the late 1990s with her highly acclaimed ITV series Home In The Country. Since then, she has built up an unrivalled expertise in property and interiors, authored five books on the subject, presented several tv series and written hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles.
In 2000, Alison founded
www.problemsolved.co.uk, the UK's biggest online directory of publicly recommended tradespeople, and in 2004, she followed that with
www.homesandbargains.co.uk, the online portal of luxury for less.
Today, her advice is syndicated across the UK in print, online, on radio and tv. Her company, The Bayswater Media Group, spans publishing, digital and licensing activities.
She lives in central London with her husband and two young sons.
