While swimming in cash and enjoying every luxury possible - some celebs still look like they could do with a good wash and brush up. Here's our grubby collection of sexy, scruffy stars.

Johnny has been connected to some of the most beautiful women on the planet - and yet he dresses like Captain Jack Sparrow with a hangover, how does he manage it?

And here's the British Johnny Depp (sort of) who can at least match his Hollywood counterpart in the scruffy stakes and is seemingly punching above his weight, after his recent affair with the gorgeous Sienna Miller.

One man with his own unique style is our Russell, who has a formidable reputation for lady-killing despite his untamed tresses and experimental facial hair.

Russell's pal Noel also has his own signature fashion style, which doesn't seem to stop The Mighty Boosh man from having ladies swooning at his oddly adorned feet.

Hollywood bad boy Colin oozes Irish charm and regularly appears on 'world’s sexiest men' lists, even though he often looks more like Worzel Gummidge than Cary Grant. Nice fingerless gloves!

Jude scrubs up well at premieres and other red carpet events where he's forced into a suit - but on his days off, he tends to favour the 'casual' style.

Owen shares Jude's predilection for dressing down, often resembling a surfer bum on a bad day rather than a Hollywood A-lister, but he always manages to pull it off.

Perhaps with his finger in so many pies, with Gorrilaz, Good the Bad and the Queen, his record label and denying the Blur reunion stories, Damon doesn't have time to pop down Carnaby Street for some smart clobber.

Often pictured with his shirt off displaying his fabulous abs, when Mr McConaughey finally does put some clothes on, his choices are more scruff than buff.

Keanu's another star who doesn't really enjoy dressing up on his days off, as illustrated with this marvellous purple knitted 'Radar from MASH' hat and matching sweatshirt/scarf.

But king of the scruffs is our very own Pete Doherty who can take the prize for the seemingly longest period without a wash, never troubling the local laundry and general griminess. Well done sir!
