Get Phil Vickery's secret to perfect pancakes

RECIPE DETAILS
1. Place the eggs in a bowl with the flour, salt, sugar and half the milk and whisk well.
2. Gradually add the rest of the milk and whisk until you have a smooth batter.
3. Heat the vegetable oil in a 24cm (9 1/2 inch) non-stick pan until just smoking.
4. Pour in 4-5 tbsp of the batter and swirl around until you have covered the bottom of the pan, don’t worry too much about any small holes.
5. Cook for a minute until just set, then flip over and brown the other side for 30 seconds.
6. Turn out on to a plate, reheat the pan and continue the process until you have four pancakes.
7. Serve with chopped strawberries and a drizzle of golden syrup.
