Gluten free spiced toffee apple and pear crumble.
1. Pre heat the oven to 200°C Gas 6. Place the sugar into a large saucepan and cook until you have a light caramel.
2. Add the lemon juice and zest, allspice, pears, apples, and cook for 5-6 minutes, until the fruit is half cooked.
3. Place into a 24cm x 3cm deep baking dish.
4. Place the flours, salt and butter together into a food processor and blitz until smooth.
5. Just pulse in the sugar, do not overwork.
6. Carefully spoon over the pear mixture.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until well browned and cooked.
8. Serve with custard or ice cream.
