Loose Women - Carol McGiffin

Carol McGiffin, who was born in Maidstone, Kent, joined Loose Women in 2000 and is one of the original members of the panel. Here she's pictured with Sherrie Hewson and former Loose Women, anchor Kaye Adams, Kerry Katona and Claire Sweeney

Carol began her broadcasting career in 1988, alongside Chris Evan on his legendary GLR radio show. The pair hit it off away from the studio as well and married in 1991. They separated three years later.

Carol often complains she doesn't get much action with men, but she doesn't look like she's doing too badly here! She puckered-up with McFly band member Dougie Poynter at the last ever G-A-Y night at London's The Astoria club in July 2008.

And, she hasn’t done too badly with the guests on Loose Women! Carol was shocked when her crush Russell Brand surprised her on the show at the end of 2007. 

Carol shows off her perfectly toned legs in a bright minidress at the Sex and the City film premiere in London’s Trafalgar Square. Don't they look lovely?! 

On another Loose Women outing, Carol headeded to Hell’s Kitchen. And, it seems the food wasn’t he only thing she was ravenous for after admitting a crush on the broody chef, Marco Pierre White. 

Carol teamed up with Sherrie Hewson on Celebrity Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in 2007. After some intense questioning, the pair scopped an impressive £75,000! Carol donated her share to the Help the Hospices charity  

We’ve no idea what Carol and Sherrie are doing here, but they look like they're enjoying themselves! The pair made a colourful appearance on Paul O’Grady’s Channel 4 show chat show in fancy dress

It’s not the first time Carol has dressed up for the cameras. She’s also made an appearance on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway dressed as an elf. We love that hat!
