01Denise Welsh grew up in Co Durham and decided she wanted to become an actress when she was just 14. She joined Loose Women in 2005 and has juggled her role as a panellist alongside acting.

08Look at the relief on her face! Denise was snapped crossing the finishing line at The Great Manchester Run 2006. She was one of 25,000 to take part in the 10km race through the city centre.
09Denise's role as Marsha Stubbs in ITV's Solider, Solider was her big break in television and revealed her talent for singing. Her double A-side single 'You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me' / ‘Cry Me A River' reached No23 in the charts in 1995.
10Denise caused chaos on the cobbles as brassy barmaid Natalie Horricks in Coronation Street. Her character famously had an affair with Sally Webster’s husband Kevin.
