Fans of the show will also know partygirl Carol loves to travel. She adores France so much she had planned to relocate to Paris at the end of the year. Now, having met her “gorgeous boyfriend”, Carol’s decided to stay put. Thailand is another of her favourite destinations. In 2004, Carol was caught up in the Indian Ocean Tsunami. She drew upon the devastating experience to write an acclaimed piece for Closer magazine and donated the proceeds to the victims' appeal.
Radio is never very far from her thoughts, having started her broadcasting career as co-host of the now legendary Chris Evans shows on GLR. Their partnership developed off air as well, they married in 1991 but separated three years later.
Other radio work has included the award-winning Talk Radio breakfast show alongside Paul Ross. She also presented a Sunday morning show for LBC but left the station in February 2008.
