The story of the musical revolves around a young boy band who are trying to make their mark on the world. On a visit to New York they happen upon a reality show who are auditioning youngsters to find the next pop music sensation.
The lead singer, Tony (Chesney) is picked to be on a reality the show and the rest of his band give him their blessing. However, before Tony appears on the show which would make his dreams come true he is caught in a tragic series of events, where he is beaten up and left fighting for his life.
Left with no memory his dreams are all but shattered. His only hope lies in the power of music that he loves and his feelings for a girl he once knew and had fallen in love with before he lost his memory - called Mandy…
