Damian Lewis’ latest film release, The Baker, sees him take on a new role in the blacker-than-black comedy about bakery bosses and bumping people off. Talent obviously runs in the family as the film is also written and directed by his younger brother Gareth.

Damian plays the role of Milo in the new British comedy (out on DVD now). The film tells the story of hit man Milo, who grows weary of his days as an assassin, and he hangs up his handgun in favour of a quiet life in a rural Welsh village. Unfortunately for him, he is mistaken for the new baker, so has to bluff and bake his way through a new life.

The Flame-haired actor earned his Transatlantic acting stripes in a wide range of dramas, from ITV's The Forsytle Saga, to most famously Spielberg's acclaimed war series Band of Brothers.
