Vicki Michelle, original cast member of the classic 80s sitcom Allo’Allo!, will once again be donning her French waitress outfit for The Allo'Allo! Tour 2008, which is on the road now.
The show was renowned for its double entendres and terrible accents but also for the onscreen cry of 'Ohhh Rrrennnnnnn-ayyy!' from Vicki’s character, the lusty French waitress Yvette Carte-Blanche.
Vicki believes that the return of Allo'Allo! has thrust the sitcom back into the spotlight.
She said: "It's great that we now have a whole new audience. People who watched the series as children are now introducing their own family to the show. It's funny because I get recognised in the street but I think I'm much more aware of it now than I was years ago."
Vicki still has her original French maid's outfit and can still fit in to it!
"They've made me a new one for the tour as I want to keep it in good condition for prosperity and I must admit that they've made the new one two inches bigger round the waist," she explains.
