This Morning made allergy sufferer Paul Braitwaite's dream of playing football on a world class pitch come true after he appeared on the show back in July.
Football mad Paul loved to play football in his back garden but couldn't because of his severe allergy to grass. The answer was to fake it, so back in October This Morning and a team of gardener’s fitted AstroTurf fit for Ferdinand!
Paul just loves the new lawn. His mum Kelly says: “I watch him out of the window and he still thinks he's going to get into trouble for rolling around on the grass - but of course he won't now."
When the new AstroTurf was laid, local children were queuing around the block to have a go on it. " Paul has had lots of people to play football with. He's still as mad on football as he has always been if not more - especially now he can play on it all day long if he likes!"
