Balloon parrot on a perch
1. Inflate balloon, leaving two inches at the end.
2. Twist off a one inch bubble and pinch knot of balloon. Pull down towards the remaining balloon and twist into place.
3. Twist another bubble, three/four inches long. Fold back on to remaining balloon and twist into the neck.
4. Twist another three/four inch bubble and push through the other bubbles.
5. Then twist remaining balloon into a perch, leaving a five inch tail.
6. Position your bird.
In 2007 Darryl and Jodie set up Balloon Art Studios to provide balloon décor, sculptures and entertainment.
They say: "We've never had to say no to any request as yet. It's not really what we create that's hard, it's more the size. People think the bigger it is the harder it is to create but actually it's the other way around.”
