Make sure your CV sells you
- Make sure it stands out and says a bit about who you are.
- Check the spelling and grammar thoroughly; it could be thrown in the bin if there are mistakes, even if you have the experience.
- Include a brief personal statement and even a picture as it will give the reader some information about you and not just your work history.

Do your research
- Be as prepared as possible and be able to demonstrate that you have done as much research as you can about the company.
- Almost every company is on the internet so spend a few hours surfing trying to get as much information as possible.

Be positive
- There is nothing worse than interviewing someone who is lacking confidence and positivity.
- Always try and be outgoing and upbeat. You won't be expected to have the perfect answer for everything but doing your best and selling the experience you do have engages people.
