Bush's Barney bites a reporter

It looked like President George W Bush's dog Barney was not much in the mood for friendly attention during a recent walk outside the White House.

When reporter Jon Decker reached down to pet the Scottish terrier, the seemingly docile dog snapped at him and bit his right index finger.

Reporter April Ryan happened to capture the moment on video and it soon wound up on YouTube.

Barney will not have to worry about bothersome reporters much longer.
