PlayThe first novel in 40 years to chronicle the adventures of James Bond has been unveiled.
Devil May Care is by Sebastian Faulks and features 007 travelling to Paris, London and the Middle East during 1967 - but the book's plot is being kept under wraps.
The launch of the new novel took place onboard HMS Exeter at Tower Bridge in London, and marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of Bond's creator, Ian Fleming.
Faulks, who is known for his Birdsong war trilogy, was picked to write the book by the Fleming family.
Other authors previously selected to continue the Bond tradition include Kingsley Amis and John Pearson.
Fleming's last novel, Octopussy, was published after he died in 1966.
He wrote a total of 14 Bond novels between 1952 and 1964.
