Christmas Carols From Alder Hey

Introduced by Coleen Rooney, this year’s Christmas Eve Service comes from the Garden of Life at Alder Hey Hospital.

The carol service begins with the lighting of a tree. Each light represents a child who has passed away at the hospital and the service is to commemorate and celebrate their lives.

Throughout the service there are readings from doctors, nurses and surgeons as well as patients and the families of patients.

The Christmas Eve Service is produced and directed by John Kirby. The executive producer is Ray Bruce.
