This episode heralds the start of ‘murder week’. By the end of this week’s episodes Liam Connor (Rob James Collier) will be dead. Unusually for Coronation Street, every episode this week will be focusing on the events of just one day – revolving around Tony’s (Gray O'Brien) stag do.

We will not be revealing how Liam dies but one thing’s for sure - Tony Gordon will be the man responsible. Three different endings have been filmed but viewers will not know which one is going to be used up until the moment of the murder.

In tonight’s episode Tony and his mates gather ready for the stag do. They arrive in Roy’s Rolls to get into teams for the paintballing but Liam has other things on his mind and can’t stay away from Carla (Aison King). He insists she meet him in the Rovers back yard where he tries to persuade her to call off the wedding. Meanwhile Tony is keeping an eye on Liam – convinced he and Carla are having an affair.

Carla’s mind is in turmoil as she cracks open the bubbly for her hen night with the girls. She knows she wants Liam but she is terrified of the consequences of breaking up with Tony.

Elsewhere on the Street, Sophie (Brooke Vincent) is disappointed that her dad is so pre-occupied with Rosie’s disappearance that he has forgotten her swimming competition. But Kevin (Michael Le Vell) is soon reminded he has two daughters when another postcard arrives with the message Sophie’s next.

Steve (Simon Gregson) is rattled when DC Hooch (Dominic Carter) arrives on the street wanting to ask him more questions and Tina (Michelle Keegan) is delighted when Rita (Barbara Knox) offers her a job at the Kabin helping out whilst Norris (Macolm Hebdon) recovers from his accident.

This episode is written by Mark Burt, produced by Kim Crowther and directed by Ian Bevitt.

PI for the rest of the week follows:

Monday 13 October 8.30pm

As the stags head for the paintballing range is this the moment that Tony (Gray O'Brien) will choose to see off Liam (Rob James Collier) once and for all?

The hens meanwhile arrive at the restaurant for their more low key celebrations and Leanne (Jane Danson) grows increasingly worried about Carla’s state of mind as she clashes with Michelle over Paul. Carla (Alison King) dashes to the ladies followed by Leanne who is astonished when Carla confesses that she is in love with Liam.

Kevin (Michael Le Vell) is beside himself with worry and as soon as Tyrone (Alan Halsall) arrives back at the garage he jumps in the pick-up truck and heads for the swimming pool to pick up Sophie (Brooke Vincent). When he arrives she isn’t there and he is relieved to arrive back in the street to discover John (Graeme Hawley), Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and Chesney (Sam Aston) have given her a lift home.

Steve’s (Simon Gregson) enjoyment of the Stag do is hampered by DC Hooch (Dominic Carter) who tells him he knows he is lying to try and protect Becky (Katherine Kelly) and warns him he will find out in the end.

Rita (Barbara Knox) still hasn’t broken the news to Norris (Malcom Hebdon) that she has taken Tina (Michelle Keegan) on at the Kabin and asks Emily (Eileen Derbyshire) if she will do it for her. Meanwhile Dan (Matthew Crompton) donates a bag of ladies clothes to Emily for her charity collection – but whose clothes are they?

This episode is written by Damon Rochefort, produced by Kim Crowther and directed by Ian Bevitt.

Wednesday 15 October 7.30pm

Leanne (Jane Danson) tells Carla (Alison King) that she needs to come clean to everyone now about what is going on rather than waiting until it is too late. Carla balks at the thought of upsetting everyone but knows that Leanne is right when she tells her she can’t marry Tony (Gray O'Brien). As she waits for a taxi to take her to see Liam she is stunned when Michelle (Kym Marsh) guesses correctly that Maria is not drinking because she is pregnant. As far as Carla is concerned this changes everything and she knows it is too late for her and Liam (Rob James Collier).

But will Liam ever get to know that he is going to be a dad or is he already dead?

Kevin (Michael Le Vell) has imposed a new set of rules on Sophie (Brooke Vincent) to ensure she is safe. She pretends to be annoyed by the restrictions but is secretly pleased she is finally getting some attention. The police come round to question them and Kevin is worried when the officer tells him that there is a possibility that Rosie may be in serious trouble and Sophie could be next.

Tyrone (Alan Halsall) is worried about the wedding and with the church booked he has little time to save up. Molly (Vicky Binns) insists she is happy with a reception at the Rovers but Tyrone wants more for his bride and Pam (Kate Anthony) suggests he help her flog some more knock of stuff.

Elsewhere Amber (Nikki Patel) is looking forward to her night of romance with Darryl (Joohnny Dixon). Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and John (Graeme Hawley) continue to get closer.

This episode is written by Jan McVerry, produced by Kim Crowther and directed by Ian Bevitt.

Friday 17 October 7.30pm

As the week’s episodes draw to a close has Tony (Gray O'Brien) already done away with Liam (Rob James Collier) or is tonight the night he meets his end? Will Maria (Samia Smith) get to tell him her fabulous news about the baby? Will Carla (Alison King) decide to marry Tony?

Elsewhere on the street Kevin (Michael Le Vell) is pleased when Pam (Kate Anthony) and Molly (Vicky Binns) invite him and Sophie (Broke Vincent) round for dinner to take their minds of the events of the last few days. With Sally away looking for Rosie, Kevin (Michael Le Vell) is grateful to have someone to talk to.

Amber (Nikki Patel) and Darryl (Johnn Dixon) are enjoying each other’s company and things are about to progress when Tina (Michelle Keegan) and David (Jack P Shepherd) gatecrash the party – after having supper with Gail (Helen Worth), Joe (Reece Dinsdale) and Ted (Michael Byrne).

This episode is written by Simon Crowther, produced by Kim Crowther and directed by Ian Bevitt.

Friday 17th October 8.30pm

As the dramatic events of the week draw to a close the shockwaves of Liam’s (Rob James Collier) death reverberate around the street. A devastated Maria (Samia Smith) can’t believe he has been so cruelly taken from her before she even had chance to tell him about the baby. Carla (Alison King) is also grief stricken but knows she has to hide the depths of her feelings from Tony (Gray O'Brien) - unaware that he knows exactly what has been going on.

Will the police pin the death on Tony or has he committed the perfect murder?

Back on the Street Tina (Michelle Keegan) and David (Jack P Shepherd) are making themselves at home in Dev’s flat and thwarting Darryl (Johnny Dixon) and Amber’s (Nikki Patel) plans. Amber hits upon an idea to get rid of them and pretends her dad is on his way home but has the moment passed for the young couple?

Pam (Kate Anthony) is astonished at Tyrone’s selling expertise and reckons the two of them could make a fortune but Tyrone (Alan Halsall) doesn’t want Molly (Vicky Binns) to know what he is up to.

A worried Kevin (Michael le Vell) pours his heart out on the phone to Sally (Sally Whittaker) when Sophie (Brooke Vincent) comes in – he struggles to pull himself together. Will the Webster’s family life ever get back to normal?

This episode is written by Chris Fewtrell, produced by Kim Crowther and directed by Ian Bevitt.
