The Fixer returns for a second series

ITV1 is proud to announce that Kudos’ critically acclaimed series The Fixer will return for a second series of 6 x 60 episodes in 2009, as state-sponsored hit-man John Mercer continues his work on the dark side of the law.

As Andrew Buchan, Tamzin Outhwaite, Jody Latham and Peter Mullan get set to bring down a new set of criminal targets, the action steps up several gears. Exciting, emotionally layered and brimming with tension, their fight to bring justice to the streets is about to get even dirtier.

The Fixer is commissioned by ITV’s Laura Mackie, Director of Drama. Executive producers are Jane Featherstone (Ashes to Ashes, Life on Mars, Spooks, Hustle) and Simon Crawford Collins (Ashes to Ashes, Spooks, Hustle). The producer is Faith Penhale (The Fixer series 1). The Fixer is created and written by Ben Richards (Party Animals, Spooks, No Angels).
