Natasha had noticed Mark's strange behaviour and asked him if everything was all right. "It's just these poachers," he lied. "I do not like the idea of them wandering around the place, especially when Will's around."

The 'For Sale' sign had gone up outside the café and Betty was horrified, not realising how bad things were for poor Bob. "If I don't sell, I go bust," he told her. But it turned out that Betty was more concerned that she'd have to go to Hotten to get her pension or a loaf of bread, if the buyers decided not to keep the businesses going. "Bob, you've let us all down," she said. How unkind!

Sam handed in his notice at Home Farm, telling Nathan and Natasha that Zak was the poacher. But Nathan knew that it couldn't have been him.

Mark called Faye and left a message on her voicemail, saying: "I don't know what you think you were doing yesterday, but I don't want you anywhere near here again. Or you're going to regret it." What was Mark's relationship with Faye?

Lee was out of hospital and told Nathan that he'd be back at work next week. Nathan replied: "Thank goodness," doing his usual trick of sounding genuinely pleased. Inside, he had wanted Katie to himself for a bit longer.

Later on, Nathan asked Katie out for another drink, but she wasn't interested. Nathan accused her of using him while Lee wasn't around. "I mean, what about yesterday?" he asked. "I brought you back here afer the pub and it certainly wasn't files you were after." Katie slapped him. "It was, actually!" she said, angrily.

Mick was shocked to hear about Sam's resignation from Lee. "Well, he would have got sacked anyway," Lee told his grandfather. "That deer that got nicked - it was his dad."

Nathan told Sam, Lee and Mick that he had been to the butchers in Hotten and knew for sure that Zak hadn't poached the venison from Home Farm. Sam felt terrible for calling his dad a liar, but did Nathan know who the guilty party was?
