Mullen hails victorious Saddlers

Walsall manager Jimmy Mullen praised his side after they beat League One rivals Swindon 2-1 to enhance their promotion credentials.

Goals from Michael Ricketts and Alex Nicholls put the Saddlers in control before Billy Paynter pulled one back.

Mullen said: "I thought it was a great performance, but we got a bit edgy as we normally do when we go two up.

"We had to endure a couple of hectic minutes at the end to get the result, but Swindon are as good a side going forward as we have come across this season."
