Hull striker Dean Windass has exclusively told itv.com that he is considering a loan move to FA Cup giantkillers Hartlepool.
The 39-year-old has been frozen out of the Tigers first team for much of the season and has grown increasingly frustrated with the situation at the KC Stadium.
He told itv.com: "It's not true that I've been released, but assistant manager Brian Horton called me in this morning and told me the club were accepting offers to take me on loan. That tells you all you need to know about my future here.
"So far one club, Hartlepool, has come in for me and I'm waiting to see how things develop. I'm going to talk over the move with my family over the next couple of days and take it from there."
Windass has used his ITV blog to document his disappointments as Hull boss Phil Brown has continually overlooked him, and said on Tuesday how the manager had not spoken to him for three weeks.
