It's common knowledge that I'm out of the Italy game on Saturday, but I'm hoping to be back in action as soon as possible - maybe in around a month.
My goal is to be back and fit for the Ireland game in Dublin, which is three-and-a-half weeks away, but we'll just have to wait and see.
It's a chance for Harry Ellis to come in a show what he can do - I'm pleased for him that's he's back from his own injury problems and will get a chance to start.
But ultimately, it is gutting that it was meant to be my No 9 shirt at Twickenham. It's very hard to take but everyone gets injured some time and the timing of this one was unlucky. I'm disappointed but now I'm looking forward to getting stuck into my rehab.
I've already had four or five different machines hooked up to my ankle today, and I'm even sleeping with an ice machine strapped to my leg! It's all moved on a bit since the days of the magic sponge. Anything that can speed up the healing process is what we're going for.
The ice machine compresses the injury and ices it at the same time - you can leave it on all night and it's hooked up to loads of ice and water, switching itself on every half an hour.
We've also got machines that send electrical impulses through the ankle and that should also speed up the healing process.
It does make it more frustrating that the way I got injured was so innocuous. We trained on Tuesday without any problems, and we were just walking to lunch and I slipped over on the ice. Seriously frustrating.
I'll be staying with the squad until after the Italy game, but I'm not sure about next week - I might be back with Quins doing rehab.
On a more positive note, my Liverpool team in Championship Manager is absolutely on fire. I'm propped up in bed with the ice machine on, having guided them to the Champions League trophy last season.
We've just beat Arsenal 4-0 away from home and signing Kaka in the transfer window was a good move as he's banging the goals in. (Shame about the real-life Liverpool's result last night!)
I'd love to be involved in the Ireland game so I'm setting my sights on that. The Wales game will probably be just a week too early but Croke Park is a massive incentive.
I was speaking to David Strettle about it when he played there two years ago, and he said it was just unbelievable.
That would be fantastic to be able to get involved in that - and it's a realistic target according to the physios. Let's hope the boys can kick off with a win against Italy on Saturday.
