Junior Witter's third defence of his WBC world light-welterweight title will be shown live on ITV1.

The fight against Timothy Bradley will be broadcast on the same May 10th bill as Carl Froch's WBC super-middleweight final eliminator against Denis Inkin.

A delighted Witter said: "It will be great to showcase my talent in front of a nationwide audience on ITV1; the great British public will now be able to see the fighter who Ricky Hatton is avoiding.

"I'm defending my WBC title, the most prestigious belt in boxing. A title Hatton has never been able to win; in fact he got knocked out fighting for the WBC title in his last fight."

Mark Sharman, ITV director of news and sport said: "We're delighted to be able to add the Junior Witter fight to the ITV1 bill. Alongside the Froch versus Inkin final eliminator and a great under card, this will be a fantastic night's boxing live on ITV."
