JEREMY KYLE: APPLICATION TRAIL LINE TERMS & CONDITIONS
 
You may contact the Jeremy Kyle programme as shown on ITV1 and/or ITV2 (the “programme”), by dialling the PRTS numbers, by sending a SMS text message to the shortcode as stated in the programme or by visiting www.itv.com/jeremykyle and following the instructions (the “trail line”).
 
1.         Eligibility
To be eligible to contact the trail line you must be aged 16 or over. If you are aged between 16 and 18 years old, parental consent and/or accompaniment by a parent or guardian may be required for any participation in the programme. In addition, you must have your main place of residence in the United Kingdom and you must not be employed, or have previously been employed or engaged by ITV, and you may not be an immediate relative (i.e. mother, father, son, daughter, brother or sister) of an employee of ITV. You must meet all other eligibility requirements as specified by the programme producer.
 
By contacting the trail line, you warrant that you are eligible to do so, that the information you provide is neither false nor misleading in any way, and you agree to be contacted by ITV, at ITV’s discretion. If selected to participate in the programme, you agree to be available to come to the studio and appear on the programme on the agreed date and time. You will be required to bring proof of age and identity.
 
Information which is deemed defamatory, obscene, unlawful, harmful, offensive or inappropriate or which may have the effect of being harassing, threatening, abusive or hateful or which otherwise degrades or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age or disability, or which is incomprehensible, false, misleading or not received is void and will not be considered.
 
You may contact the trail line as many times as you like and the trail line can be reached from anywhere in the United Kingdom.
 
2.         Trail Line
You may dial the trail line by dialling the PRTS number 09011 12 34 56, as stated in the programme, where you will hear a recorded message asking you to leave your full name, contact telephone number, and a brief message, lasting no longer than 20 seconds, stating why you would like to be in the programme. You may also send a SMS text message to 63334 with the keyword ‘TALK’ along with your full name.
 
Please dial carefully and speak clearly and audibly when leaving your message and your details. The recorded message and the time available for you to leave your message, including stating why you would like to be in the programme, should last no longer than one (1) minute.
 
Alternatively you may contact the trail line by visiting the website at: www.itv.com/jeremykyle and follow the instructions given there.
 
ITV and/or the producer of the programme may at their sole discretion call back an eligible applicant from the pool of applicants who have contacted the trail line with a view to participating in any future episode of the programme. ITV does not guarantee that all applicants will be contacted, nor does ITV represent, undertake or warrant that it will broadcast any future episode of the programme which may or may not include an applicant’s participation.
 
You are required to comply with any directions given to you by ITV including but not limited to any and all relevant laws, rules and regulations, and where applicable, compliance with the Ofcom Broadcasting Code. In the event that you do not, or are unable to, comply with these terms and conditions and/or other applicable rules and procedures, ITV shall be entitled at its sole discretion to disqualify you, without any further liability to you.
 
3.         Cost
Each phone call to the trail line 09011 12 34 56 costs 25p (twenty five pence) based on using a BT network landline. Call costs from other networks may be higher and calls from mobiles will be considerably more depending on your telephone provider's own tariffs and charges. The total cost will be dependent on your network.
 
Each SMS text message to 63334 costs 25p (twenty five pence) plus one standard network rate message.
 
Please ask permission from the bill payer before dialling. There will be no refunds for the cost of any calls made, or for any misdialled calls, or for text messages not received, or where the keyword is misspelt or otherwise incorrect.
 
There is no charge when applying via the website, but your internet service provider’s fees may apply when accessing the internet.
 
4.         Use of the service
ITV, the producers of the programme and their sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, software provider or otherwise which may result in any messages not being properly received, heard or recorded.
 
ITV cannot promise that the system and/or service will be free from errors or omissions nor that it will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition. The system and/or service may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the reasonable control of ITV. ITV will not be liable to you or to any other person in the event that all or any part of the phone line, system and/or service is discontinued, modified or changed in any way.
 
5.         General:
Your personal data will be used in the administration of your application to participate in this programme, and not for marketing purposes except with your consent.
 
Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer. For more details on your statutory rights you should contact your local Trading Standards Office or Citizen's Advice Bureau.
 
6.         Queries/Complaints:
If you have a query or complaint, you may register it with ITV Viewer Services who can be contacted by phone on 0844 88 14150, or by email at viewerservices@itv.com. You will need to give the following information:
 
a) Your Name
b) The telephone number of the phone you dialled or sent a SMS text from
c) Your email address
d) The IP number of your computer and your internet service provider, where relevant
e) If possible, your telephone network operator
f) The date(s) and time(s) when you experienced problems
g) The nature of your query or the problem you experienced
h) A contact telephone number where you can be reached if necessary
